Every podcast publishes an RSS feed, and that feed quietly records the whole history of the show. feedwrapped reads one and lays that history out: a release calendar marking every episode ever published, how episode length has drifted over the years, the distribution of short and long instalments, the show’s usual rhythm and its longest silences, and the total hours of audio behind it all.
It needs nothing but the feed — no listening platform, no API key, no account. That also sets the limit honestly: a feed describes what was published, never who listened, so you get the publishing record rather than audience figures.

What does feedwrapped do?
It reads a podcast's RSS feed and turns it into a picture of how the show is actually made: when episodes go out, how long they run, how the schedule has drifted over the years, and how much audio there is in total. Every number comes from the feed itself.
What do I need to use it?
The podcast's RSS feed URL, and nothing else. There is no account to make, no API key to register for and nothing to install.
How do I find a podcast's RSS feed?
Most shows link it from their own website, usually labelled RSS or Subscribe. Directories such as Podcast Index and fyyd list feed URLs directly. An Apple Podcasts or Spotify link will not work on its own, because those pages keep the underlying feed hidden.
Does it work for every podcast?
Any podcast with a public RSS feed, which is very nearly all of them. A show that exists only inside one app, such as a platform exclusive, has no public feed to read, so there is nothing feedwrapped can tell you about it.
Will it show download or listener numbers?
No, and no tool can get those from a feed alone. Downloads are counted by the podcast's own hosting company and never appear in the RSS. feedwrapped only reports what the feed genuinely states, so what you see is the publishing record rather than the audience.
How fresh are the numbers?
A feed is downloaded once and then re-checked at most once an hour. The check asks the podcast host whether anything changed, and only downloads the feed again if it did, which keeps the load on small publishers close to nothing. How the fetcher behaves.
Do you track me?
No accounts, no cookies and no analytics. What is stored is the podcast feeds themselves, so that a second visit is instant. The three most recently checked shows are listed on this page, so treat a lookup as public rather than private.
Can I use it for my own show?
Yes, and that is where it tends to be most useful. Your own feed will show the gaps you had forgotten, whether episodes have quietly grown longer, and how long your best run of consistent weeks actually was. Each podcast page ends with a card built for sharing.
